Site Management

There are two types of sites in SiteBuilder: trial sites and regular sites.

To manage sites

  1. Click Main on the navigation pane.
  2. Click Site Management. The Site Management screen appears.

On this screen you can view the following information about sites:

  3. To find a site, enter the site alias in the Site alias field and click Search.
  4. To see the list of all sites in the system, click Show All Sites.
  5. To activate or deactivate a site, select the check box beside a site and click Activate or Deactivate.
  6. To allow or disallow publishing of a regular site, select the check box beside the corresponding site and click Allow Publish or Disallow Publish.
  7. To switch a trial site to regular, select the check box beside the trial site and click Trial to Regular. If a trial site is deactivated then upon transferring it to a regular site this regular site will be deactivated also.

If licensing agreement is breached, that is the number of the sites allowed for publishing is overreached upon transferring the trial site into the regular site then this regular site becomes deactivated.

If licensing agreement is maintained during this operation then this trial site becomes activated regular site.

When a trial site becomes an activated regular site the Template Plan for trial sites is automatically assigned to it, that is all the settings of the Template Plan for trial sites are assigned to this site. For more effective usage of the Template Plans, edit settings of a newly transferred regular site.

  8. To delete a site, select it and click Delete.
